Overview
Cursor CLI is a command-line tool for working with Cursor IDE. Available in two modes: interactive TUI for hands-on coding sessions and non-interactive mode for scripts and CI environments. The agent can read/write files, search through codebases, and (with approval) execute shell commands. Supports Rules system (.cursor/rules), reads AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md, integrates with MCP servers. Works with any model from your Cursor subscription (GPT-5, Claude Opus 4.1, Grok). Compatible with VS Code commands. Currently in beta version
